@ES According to our experiences we obtained the following results;
@EN 1. The duration of the first stage of labor was similar between the epidural group and the control group in primiparas and multiparas, and that of the second stage of labor was significantly longer in the primiparous epidural group than the
primiparous control group (p<0.05), but did not differ significantly between the epidural group and the control group in the multiparas.
2. The apgar score and birth weight of the newborns were similar between the epidural group and control group in the primiparas and multiparas.
3. The frequency of instrumental delivery was increased in the primiparous epidural group than in the primiparous control group and also increased in the multiparous epidural group than in the multiparous control group.
4. The frequency of complications of epidural analgesia was in order backage(6.1%), shivering(4.5%), nausea and vomiting (3.1%), hypotension(3.1%), respectively.
5. In view of satisfactory degree during labor after epidural analgesia, most of primiparas and multiparas were excellent and good(22.9% versus 33.4%, 58.3% versus 40.0%, respectively).
